Product Description:

  1. Sensor: Uses high-quality soil sensor probes for moisture detection. The surface is nickel-plated with a widened sensing area to enhance electrical conductivity, prevent rusting when in contact with soil, and extend the service life.
  2. Functionality: Allows wide-range control of soil moisture. The corresponding threshold is adjustable via the potentiometer. The DO output is High Level when humidity is below the set threshold, and Low Level when humidity exceeds the set threshold.
  3. Comparator: Utilizes a stable LM393 comparator chip.
  4. Operating Voltage: 3.3V - 5V
  5. Installation: Features fixing bolt holes for easy mounting.
  6. PCB Dimensions: 3.2cm x 1.4cm

Wiring Instructions (3-Wire System):

  • VCC: Connect to external 3.3V - 5V power supply
  • GND: Connect to external ground
  • DO: Digital output interface from the small board (0 and 1)

Module Instructions:

  1. The sensor is suitable for soil moisture detection.
  2. The blue potentiometer on the module is used to adjust the soil moisture threshold. Turning it clockwise increases the humidity set point; turning it counterclockwise decreases it.
  3. The digital output (DO) can be directly connected to a microcontroller. The microcontroller detects the high/low level to determine the soil moisture status.
