MCU-219 INA219 Bidirectional Current & Power Monitor Module (I²C)

The INA219 achieves a maximum error accuracy of 1% with a maximum offset of 100 µV over the temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The high accuracy of this product, combined with the benefits of 12-bit resolution, helps customers minimize the voltage drop across the shunt resistor. This allows for reduced power loss and dissipation, as well as saving board space. The device can sense bus voltages ranging from 0 V to +26 V.

Features:

• Programmable calibration register allows current to be read directly in amperes and power to be read in watts.
• Averaging of up to 128 samples enables filtering in noisy environments.
• I²C interface with a timeout feature prevents bus lockup and supports high-speed modes for communication up to 3.4 MHz.

• Operates from a single supply voltage between +3.0V and +5.5V.
